What kind of videos do they make?
Who are they specifically? Hobbyists? Professionals?
Do buyers need additional help (via tutorials), or are our products easy enough for them to figure out?

![]() Hello there! Almost 4 years ago, in Summer 2011, I started RodyPolis.com in my bedroom while I attended college. I've always been a big dreamer, but I can honestly say at the time I never expected this little website to come this far so fast. Over the years we've served thousands of you guys, and it's been a fun and exciting journey. However, there's one thing I've always felt could be better. Well, actually there are hundreds of things I feel could be better, but this one is at the top of my list. I've always wanted RodyPolis to not just be a company, but a community as well. We've had some success on that front, but I believe we can do better. Simply creating new packages and selling them shouldn't be the only goal, which is why one of my top 2 goals this year is to build on and grow the RodyPolis community (in case you're wondering, the other top goal is to finally release Shootout Stock Pack 2). Getting the community where it needs to be won't be an over-night project; there are actually a lot of changes that need to be made on the site's infrastructure in order to prepare it for the vision I have in mind. However, over the next few months you'll start to notice more community-based initiatives on the site. The first of which will help us get to know our users in a way we haven't really explored before. While we know our target audience very well, some questions that aren't always easy to answer are: What in the world do they use our products for? What kind of videos do they make? Who are they specifically? Hobbyists? Professionals? Do buyers need additional help (via tutorials), or are our products easy enough for them to figure out? I'm always happy to see projects where our products are used, but outside of a few tagged videos on Youtube/Vimeo, and the videos a few of you e-mail me, I don't get to see much of what our thousands of users are up to. Being able to see what all you guys are creating with our products would not only help us build a better community, but it would also motivate us to keep on creating more great and affordable stock packages. Send us your videos! So here's the deal: If you use any of our products in your projects (no matter how small), send a link our way! We'll share our favorites on our Facebook/Twitter pages, as well as create a monthly Community Spotlight post on this blog to showcase them. Use the form below to send us a video. I'm hoping that regularly showcasing our users' work on this site and social media pages will be the first step to taking this community to new heights. Let me know your thoughts, questions, and suggestions below. Thanks! -Rodolphe.

I think it is a great idea to feature work from users of your products. It is a win-win situation for everyone involved and a great way to put content creators in contact with one another. Really like your work and your products.

Hey Rodolphe, I think it's great idea. I would be happy if we all could share our works and learn together in this site. Problem is, I'm just a high school student at the moment and I haven't used any of the packaged stock footages provided in this site (I'm not old enough to have a credit card, let alone pay pal), that's why I've only used the freebies you gave us.

Hey Bob, I'm 15 and where I live I can't get a job until I'm 16. But a good way to make some cash or at least what I've done is sell stuff on eBay that I purchase for really cheap at Good Will. This will require a PayPal account but you don't need to be any age to get one. I hope that was some what helpful.
